Actelis Networks has hired Joe Manuele as its new vice president of worldwide sales and customer service.
Manuele holds more than 22 years of networking and telecom experience at companies including Adtran, Sycamore Networks and Cisco Systems Inc. He replaces Mehmet Balos, who joined General Bandwidth earlier this year.
Actelis is expanding beyond the United States and Europe into countries such as Latin America and Canada. Manuele has worked internationally for some years and Tuvia Barlev, co-founder, president, and CEO of Actelis, said that experience will come in handy. Actelis execs believe Manuele’s “extensive telecom savvy will successfully lead the company’s strategic development in these regions,” Barlev said.
Actelis specializes in first-mile Ethernet.
