At CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2008, RIM announced a deal with Internet radio site Slacker.com to let BlackBerry users stream music for free over their devices, or for $10 per month save individual songs on the hard drive.
That’s totally so chill, man.
But the let’s-mix-business-with-pleasure iPhone isn’t creating any competitive pressure to rethink the smartphone beyond the business user? Not at all, right?
Yesterday BlackBerry launched a flip-phone form factor for the Pearl, further evidence that it kind of *hearts* consumers these days.
