Luca Maestri has been named the new chief financial officer at Nokia Siemens. It’s hoped the move will show the company’s integration is on track.
Maestri was previously the CFO at General Motors’ European division.
The telecom-equipment market has struggled in the past few quarters due to slumping spending and the weak economy.
