One blogger says high-tech methods could determine the outcome of the presidential election.

It’s well-known that Barack Obama’s campaign has used cutting-edge technologies and communications to reach voters, especially those hitting the voting booths for the first time. John McCain’s campaign has tried to play catch-up but hasn’t been as successful.

The overall message, says Ed Cone of CIO Insight, is that whether Obama wins or loses, “his Internet-enabled campaign will be the model for the future.”
