Uh-oh: Security researchers have found a “serious flaw” in T-Mobile USA’s G1 handset, based on the Google Andoid platform, which was launched last week.
Specifically, malicious hackers could tap into applications, hijack them, and lead the user to a bad Website that would infect the phone.
Google Inc., for its part, said the handset is “compartmentalized” enough to limit the threat exposure.
