EarthLink Inc. (ELNK) on Tuesday reported net income of $54.7 million. Compare that to a $79.4 million loss a year earlier and we have a winner. It didn’t hurt that EarthLink got out of muni Wi-Fi for good, and out from under the Helio venture.
Just goes to prove that narrowing your business focus can make or break you.
