The FCC wants to know if Deutsche Telekom (DT) has too much of an ownership stake in T-Mobile USA.
If it does, that would violate U.S. policies on foreign ownership.
We want to know why this is only coming about now. Deutsche Telekom has controlled T-Mobile for a long time – long enough for the FCC to have been on top of this. But then, does the Kevin Martin-led agency really pursue anything unless it appears to threaten moral decency or Bell market share?
