The online auction site eBay sure is getting a lot of free publicity from the McCain campaign.
First, Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin promoted the idea that she’d sold the state’s jet on eBay.
And Tuesday night, John McCain mentioned former eBay CEO Meg Whitman as a possible treasury secretary to replace Henry Paulson should the McCain camp win the presidency.
Who knows, maybe Whitman could be good for the tech industry. Then again, Warren Buffet under an Obama administration probably wouldn’t be half bad either.
