The satellite operator reports it lost subscribers in the third quarter. That’s the second quarter in a row for that to happen. Prior to June 30, it had never happened. The company blames competition, the weak economy, and a high customer turnover rate. Profits also plunged 54 percent.
Last month, DISH lost its appeal of a 74 million dollar verdict granted to TiVo for patent violations.
