It didn’t take long for the new BlackBerry Storm to sell out on Friday, but not every customer was able to get their new toy up and running as quickly as they’d hoped.
The Verizon (VZ) subscription network went down for four hours on Friday, affecting customers in New York City and northern New Jersey. A number of people in Massachusetts were also affected.
Company officials say the issue was resolved and the demand for the Storm exceeded expectations.
