Dascom Systems Group LLC, an integrator of legacy and next-generation IPTV systems, today announced a new video production system for local origination of content and a free, off-air antenna analysis for telephone companies.
With the addition of local channel programming to its featured IPTV offerings, Dascom says it’s now equipped to help telcos increase their subscriber base and competitive edge while showing loyalty to the local community.
For telephone companies attending the TelcoTV show this week, Dascom has tailored three local production packages ranging from a single-camera solution to a full production system trailer to meet various needs and budgets.
The featured service in Dascom’s 2008 booth will be a complimentary analysis of off-air antennas in preparation for the February 2009 switch to digital television.
This analysis will gather critical information like tower coordinates and receive site locations from the telco, and the follow-on package presented could include engineering, equipment list and cost to upgrade.
