Hold On! Frontier Makes ‘On Hold’ Go Away

Tom Petty once sang, “Waiting is the hardest part.” Well, Frontier Communications says it’s trying something that eliminates the waiting that almost every company’s customers despise ― being “on hold.”

Frontier has implemented a pilot project using contact center solutions from Virtual Hold Technology LLC that allow you to skip that “on hold” annoyance.

During periods of high call volume, customers will have the option to wait for the next available representative, or hang up and receive a callback from a Frontier representative. Virtual Hold Concierge software tracks the customer’s place in line and places a callback to the customer at the phone number provided.
