Months after News Corp.’s NDS Group was found guilty of hacking EchoStar’s Dish Network security system, the security firm has been ordered to pay EchoStar $.8.3 million in court costs.
The case, decided in May, was brought by EchoStar, which charged NDS with hacking the Nagra technology used by Dish.
