AT&T Interactive and Idearc Media LLC have signed a cross-distribution deal to give YELLOWPAGES.COM advertisers and SUPERPAGES.COM advertisers the opportunity for additional online placements on the local search websites.
AT&T Interactive claims the agreement helps advertisers extend their reach to consumers and increase the ability to generate quality customer leads. YELLOWPAGES.COM and SUPERPAGES.COM will now be able to share business profiles and more from each other's advertisers, providing consumers access to more comprehensive and relevant information.
"Ad networks and distribution are critical elements for digital advertising. Extending our local search ad network through this agreement helps us to connect advertisers with more consumers," said AT&T Interactive President and CEO David Krantz, in prepared comments.
AT&T Interactive, a subsidiary of AT&T Inc. (T), says it creates local search products and services that let consumers find and connect with businesses across the devices and interactive platforms including online, mobile, and TV. The unit was created in 2005. AT&T Interactive says it develops, manages and delivers all online and mobile advertising products for AT&T.
Idearc says it uses a multiplatform of advertising solutions including Superpages.com, Superpages Mobile, Superpages Mobile for BlackBerry, Switchboard.com, LocalSearch.com, Verizon Yellow Pages and more.
