Comcast Corp.(CMCSA) is under fire from the FCC for its VoIP management practices and now at least one media outlet is exploring the depth to which the cable operator really might be violating traffic principles.
The Catch-22, apparently, is that Comcast’s protocol-agnostic system can’t decipher one type of application from another.
Comcast didn’t share its thoughts on the matter; some sources speculated that all users really want is transparency from their ISPs.
