Several telecom analysts speculated in December that the FCC would extend the decision due date on a pending Embarq Corp. (EQ) forbearance petition and they were right.
The FCC on Monday issued a notice saying it will be 90 more days, at the most, before it votes on Embarq’s request that VoIP traffic be subject to intercarrier compensation rules.
