Among that list is Nokia, which is reportedly seeking folks to create Internet-based entertainment services. Positions exist at headquarters in Helsinki, Finland, as well as in Berlin, Bristol and Montreal. Samsung Electronics of South Korea is looking for engineers with electronic, electrical, computer science, mechanical, physics, and material engineering majors and MBA graduates to work in the Digital Media, Telecommunication Network, Semiconductor, and LCD divisions. And video game company Ubisoft, whose Montreal office is expanding, is searching for designers.
But if you’ve had it with high-tech, you may also be attracted to BMW, LEGO or Nestle, which seem like fun places to work and offer a mix of opportunities for those with backgrounds in engineering, design, finance, supply chain management, IT and more.
