The Vodafone-Opera partnership, that is.
The mobile phone maker and the Internet browser developer have teamed to put Opera Mini on Vodafone’s (VOD) low- and mid-end devices. Some of the phones will accommodate Web 2.0 content such as YouTube videos; that’s because Opera plans to compress Web pages by up to 90 percent for faster browsing on slower connections.
Opera Mini will be available in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
