The association that supplies rural IPTV providers with programming options said Tuesday it’s freezing rates at 2008 levels.
The freeze applies to the expanded basic packages, said representatives for the National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC).
“In tough economic times, we want to help rural telcos keep programming rates steady for consumers," Bob Phillips, NRTC president and CEO, said in a prepared statement.
