The battle for the managed IT services space continues with AT&T Inc.’s Remote Infrastructure Management service, which can handle companies’ infrastructure in the data center, office or collocation space.
The service will cover the management of IT equipment, software and applications for a monthly flat fee. Specific services include design, deployment and maintenance for servers, storage and network infrastructure, remote management, and site visits to install, repair or upgrade gear, plus reporting tools.
The service, offered globally, takes on Verizon Business and it’s global IT management offerings, and newcomers to the market like British Telecom plc.
