DCA Services announced at the COMPTEL PLUS Convention & Expo in Dallas it named Paris Donahue director of sales. Donahue will be charged with acquiring new accounts, managing existing relationships and being first to sell a new wholesale billing system.

Donahue has been involved in back office support for many years and has already had a positive impact on the organization, said W. Jeff Swenson, vice president of sales and marketing at DCA.

Before joining DCA, Donahue served as president of 121Consulting where she assisted carriers with identifying revenue leakage and improving internal operations. She also worked as director of sales at Billing Concepts and held various roles with U.S. Long Distance including sales operations manager and director of acquisitions.

Donahue will get a chance to promote DCA’s latest portfolio addition, a new wholesale rating and billing platform that will provide service providers flexibility in designing their products and services, as well as providing valuable margin information to help manage their costs.

The new wholesale platform complements DCA’s retail solution and can be configured to fit any model. It can rate virtually any combination of originating or terminating data and allows for a variety of rating methods, timing parameters, cost modifiers, increments or currencies. It also supports instantaneous rate modifications and can apply rates based on the effective date of the rate, regardless of when the call is processed or reprocessed.

Additionally, DCA’s wholesale platform allows users to simultaneously rate customer traffic and provides them with real time margin information for customers, products and vendors.
