Pac-West Telecomm Inc., a provider of advanced wholesale telecommunications services, announced at the COMPTEL PLUS Convention & Expo in Dallas that it has launched two new service offerings targeted at the international voice market: tiered-rate screening for U.S. termination and a complete A-Z international termination offering.
Pac-West now provides international customers that have U.S.-destined traffic a flexible and cost-effective termination solution without the need for detailed routing to the NPA-NXX or LATA/OCN level. By setting up screening classes at a maximum cost level, Pac-West allows carriers to choose the cost level that best suits their traffic patterns. All calls destined to a rate center with a termination rate equal to or lower than the threshold will be completed and billed according to the cost of that rate center. Customers thereby achieve the cost benefit of detailed routing without the work.
Pac-West has also launched a new international carrier platform to provide current and future connected service providers a “one stop shop” for global termination. With the flexibility to break out code sets to any level and the ability to create customized rate plans, Pac-West can offer customers a solution tailored to meet their termination needs.
