Swisscom venture me2meAG has developed a new tool to improve the mobile voice mail experience. The company will launch its new service in the U.S. at the CTIA Wireless show next week in Las Vegas.

me2me says its new personal messaging and Web service helps subscribers better manage their voice mail by adding valuable information about the message content, and making voice mail more searchable.

me2me’s voice mail solution is offered as a managed service to mobile operators worldwide, making the service affordable and speedy to implement, according to the company. Me2me says the service promises to help operators make money by offering a valuable service to subscribers.

“The current voice mail services can be cumbersome and time consuming to access and manage,” said me2me CEO Peter Hauser, “but me2me’s service is set to change all that. Combined with me2me’s wider personal messaging solution, this service will significantly improve the access and management of voice mail content for subscribers, and will generate new income for mobile and fixed line operators. With the launch of me2me AG in the U.S. market, this effectively extends and multiplies the potential subscriber base into the millions.”
