When you fire up your TiVo (TIVO) later this year, you’ll be able to watch anything from Blockbuster’s (BBI) Internet VoD service. The agreement between the two companies also means the movie rental house will sell TiVos at its nearly 4,000 stores around the U.S.
TiVo has a similar deal with Netflix (NFLX) , Blockbuster’s chief rival. That agreement gives TiVo subscribers access to the Netflix library, as long as they subscribe to both services.
TiVo says it wants to be a “one-stop shop for any content ... straight to the TV.”
