Elan Microelectronics, a chip design company in Taiwan, is suing Apple for patent infringement. The company claims Apple is using its touchscreen technology in a handful of products, from the iPhone to the MacBook.
Elan won a similar suit last year against Synpatics. The company is asking for an injunction against Apple.
