FLO TV said at the CTIA Wireless show that it’s not only improving its coverage in some markets, it’s getting started in three new ones – Greensboro, N.C.; Wilmington, Del.; and Atlantic City, N.J.
FLO TV wants to reach more than 200 million people in 100 U.S. markets by the end of 2009. This latest move reaches a potential of 10 million more subscribers.
The company also announced that it’s trying to increase the number of handsets that can receive broadcast signals.
FLO TV is a Qualcomm subsidiary.
