Will Joe Nacchio have another mysterious, well-timed cancer scare before April 14?
That’s the day a federal judge has told the ex-Qwest Communications International Inc. (Q) CEO to definitely, without fail, report to prison.
Nacchio was supposed to go the luxury, minimum-security facility in Pennsylvania in March but his attorney pulled out all the stops – skin cancer and a Supreme Court appeal. Still, a judge said this week the appeal looked like it was filed just to delay Nacchio’s report to prison.
Nacchio was convicted last year of illegal insider trading.
