In its first-quarter market share statistics report, Infonetics Research says GENBAND is No. 1 worldwide in trunk media gateways.
The report shows GENBAND shipped more trunk media gateway ports globally in the first quarter than any other media gateway manufacturer tracked by Infonetics. GENBAND captured 17 percent global revenue market share, with shipments increasing 82 percent and revenue increasing 44 percent quarter over quarter.
GENBAND’s carrier grade gateways, including its high-density G9 Converged Gateway, mid-sized G6 Universal Gateway and hardened G2 Compact Gateway, allow fixed and mobile operators to rapidly deploy new multimedia services and infrastructure, while enabling service providers with legacy networks to transition to next generation networks.
