Sen. John McCain might not be the 44th president of the United States, but hey, he has 1 million followers on Twitter!
You might remember that McCain called himself computer illiterate on the campaign trail last year. Well, he’s come a long way, as evidenced in his Twitter posts. OK, maybe not a long way, but at least he can tweet.
In a press release, McCain said using Twitter has been enjoyable. On his Twitter page, he posted: “Wow, I just went over 1 million followers – thanks everyone!”
Twitter lists McCain as the most followed member of Congress, outdistancing the second-place senator by more than 970,000 followers.
