There could be a “Storm” on the horizon – a Storm 2, to be more specific.
Rumors have been flying since May that the release of the new BlackBerry touchscreen device might be imminent. But now there might be better evidence. Verizon Wireless has cut the price of the original Storm again – this time to just $49.99 after the instant rebate and a two-year contract. When it was first released, the Storm would set you back $200. This is the second price drop for the product.
The latest speculation is that the new version of the smartphone will come out in October.
