It looks like television ads for the Palm Pre will be a little less strange than the ones seen on the airwaves in the United States.
Bell Canada will launch the Pre in Canada next week. The ads that Canadians are seeing are focused on the phone itself, rather than a pasty-white, Max Headroom-like woman. Bell is also pushing a video campaign that features an excited, yet average Joe touting the Pre’s functions as he bumps into people on the street.
