The popular BlackBerry Bold is ready for a sequel, if a report from an “insider” is to be believed.
The Bold, which came out just last year, has been one of BlackBerry’s top-selling products. Now comes word that AT&T and T-Mobile will make an announcement about the Bold 2, aka the BlackBerry Onyx, in less than two weeks.
Engadget Mobile gets its information from someone named “Cody,” who says the companies will tell the world on Oct. 21 just when they plan to start selling the new smartphone.
Rumors also have been swirling about the follow-up to the Storm, which could be available by the end of the month.
