Sources say AT&T will try to make mobile TV a little more price-friendly starting next week.
Its FLO TV basic service is expected to drop from $15 per month to just $10. The package includes a dozen stations, including ESPN Mobile, Fox Mobile, MTV, Nickelodeon and CNN Mobile.
The Plus package, which includes Web browsing, data usage and more, in addition to the TV channels, is currently priced at $30/month. We haven’t heard if the price for that service will drop as well.
The price cut comes as no surprise. Earlier this year, FLO TV’s president acknowledged that the service costs too much.
FLO TV debuted its own mobile TV device last month for $250.
