AT&T says it has reached a tentative contract agreement with the last of its remaining Communications Workers of America regions – the Southeast.

The deal covers 30,000 employees in nine states and still must be ratified by a union vote.

AT&T workers in the Southeast have been working without a contract since it expired in August. Health care costs were at the center of the dispute. In fact, that was the core issue for most of the regions that have battled with the company this year.
