Amdocs and AT&T have signed an agreement that expands and extends a deal for managed services.
Amdocs will begin to provide additional applications management services in support of AT&T’s wireline customer care, billing, ordering and wholesale platforms beginning in early spring. This is an extension of an agreement signed in 2007 under which Amdocs will manage AT&T’s legacy consumer and wholesale platforms through 2017.
Meantime, Amdocs also announced it will extend a similar contract in Canada. The company will continue its current managed services and related professional services relationship with Bell Canada to deliver and support billing and billing-related services across the organization for an additional five years through 2017.
“The decision to extend our relationship with Amdocs further enhances our ongoing efficiency efforts while ensuring the continuity of operations,” said Mike Cole, executive vice president and CIO, Bell Canada. “Amdocs has provided exceptional quality solutions and world-class billing operations to Bell over the years.”
“The extension of the managed services and professional services arrangement reinforces the long-standing excellence in operations and service delivery that is the cornerstone of the relationship between Bell Canada and Amdocs,” said Chris Burton, division president, North American Communications Group for Amdocs.
