Dozens of Telecom Firms Make Inc. 500 Lists

Inc. 500 magazine has released its annual report on the top companies in America and dozens of telecom and tech firms again made the Inc. 5000 list for 2010.

Smaller niche firms ranked among the fastest-growing private companies. Unified communications provider PanTerra Networks, for example, came in at 469 (out of 5,000) with 641 percent three-year revenue growth while TEOCO, which just bought TTI Telecom, stands at 2,193 for 117 percent three-year sales growth. Hosted VoIP provider Geckotech came in at 1,878 for its second year in a row on the Inc. 5000, while Oregon-based CLEC Integra Telecom achieved a spot at 1,722.

Other telecom names on the list include CLEC Birch Communications, managed services provider VoIP Logic, Fibertech Networks, colo provider Telx Group, VoIP provider 5LINX Enterprises, and telecom expense management company Tangoe.
