Mobile-payment and payment-gateway solutions provider CHARGE Anywhere is introducing a new mobile-pay app that can be downloaded to any BlackBerry 7 device.
CHARGE Anywhere says its new payment application allows merchants to easily turn their BlackBerry into a secure, intuitive point-of-sale terminal. With the ability to process cash, check, credit and gift/loyalty, merchants can leverage a BlackBerry and turn it into a fully functional POS terminal for a more mobile and cost-effective solution than traditional legacy terminals, the company said.

"Releasing timely, compatibility updates ensures that merchants utilizing our secure payment application can seamlessly accept payments if they purchase the next generation of BlackBerry smartphones."
CHARGE Anywhere now has POS solutions for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile, Java and Brew platforms. The company says the solution permits users to capture and export mission-critical business data such as signature capture, invoice number, employee number, tips and GPS location. CHARGE Anywhere's solution allows you to send eReceipts from the application, so it eliminates the need for paper receipts and the costs associated with it.
