The Motorola Droid RAZR will debut at Verizon Wireless on Friday.
The carrier will begin selling the device at precisely 11:11 a.m. on November 11, 2011.
"Verizon Wireless stores nationwide will open on Nov. 11, 2011 at 11:11 a.m. to sell the RAZR," Engadget quoted Verizon Wireless in a statement. "The 11:11:11 is a fun way to commemorate the November launch of the first Droid on the Verizon Wireless network."
Running on the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system, the new Droid RAZR – measuring 7.1 mm thin – is being called the world's thinnest 4G LTE smartphone. The name is an homage to the original Razr, released in 2003, one of the best-selling handsets of all time.
