Verizon Wireless suffered some disruptions in its 4G service but has restored operations.
The network operations team at the nation's largest wireless provider resolved a technical issue last night, although the company didn't reveal the cause of the problem, CNET reported.
The 4G glitch forced some customers off the network and onto Verizon's 3G service starting late Tuesday, according to the report.
Customers generally reported intermittent or unavailable 4G services or noted their 4G devices were operating at 3G speeds, according to Computerworld, which cited a Verizon spokesman as stating that customers were able to make voice calls as well as send and receive text messages.
