The Future of Mobile Broadband
The commercial launch of next-generation networks in Europe, Japan and the U.S. is pushing mobile broadband into a state of flux. Advanced network technologies, such as LTE and HSPA+, promise a compelling, high-speed user experience, while innovative device form factors are enabling new connected behaviors. The profound changes taking place in the mobile communications ecosystem are creating uncertainty but also enormous opportunities. Critical questions include: How will customers use mobile broadband services in the future? What other service innovations are coming? What is the impact of smartphone and tablet proliferation? Can operators cope with the ensuing data tsunami, and how can they differentiate their services?
